I thought I had already tasted the best thin crust pizza. Boy was I wrong! A friend asked me to go here and I was shocked that I had lived in the area for a long time and never noticed this place. It is in an old firehouse-very cool. Upon entering, I could smell the food. Yum! The environment is warm and friendly, pretty much a local hangout. There are pictures of the firehouse back when it was in use and Giants memorabilia scattered on the walls. There is a small bar and a few tv's. There are plenty of tables. This place is great for families, friends, and late nights. I believe they have a banquet area upstairs as well. The menu is pretty varied including, seafood, steak, chili, different appetizers-and while everything sounded good; I was told to try the pizza. Our waitress was nice and attentive. I ordered the fire chief special, which consists of peppers, onions, black olives, mushrooms, pepperoni, and sausage. It was delicious. The crust was micro thin and the sauce, toppings, and cheese-perfect. The sausage stood out to me as it wasn't that thinly sliced or tiny ball kind. It was actually lightly crispy pieces of good quality sausage. They have your standard beer and alcohol selection at standard prices. I didn't take notice of the specials but I believe they have different food specials each night. There is plenty of street parking around as well. I shall return soon!
