I make it a point to go here every time I am down at the oceanfront. The food is amazing, and the service is perfection. You can choose from a variety of foods with a variety of prices as well. It is very kid friendly, often times the waitresses have been so quick to help entertain and cater to kids being present. My favorite is their fried shrimp. It's not greasy at all, and so fresh and served with drawn butter which makes it even better. My husband said their burgers were fantastic. I've never been disappointed. Skip the 30$ per plate meals right on the beach and walk a block away from the oceanfront to find this gem. You will not regret it.

I really want to like this place. The location is amazing and waterfront scenery is picturesque. The location alone warrants 3 stars. We have eaten here before and after new management...sadly all meals were mediocre. Service is slow. Living on the gulf coast we have our share of fresh grouper and the preparation here is below average. Drink menu is nice and drinks are above average. If you are looking for a good drink and great ambiance on a beautiful FL day, this place should satisfy. If you are looking for outstanding food and service go somewhere else.

Concha Joes has been a restaurant I've been going to since I was a small child. It's a nice casual indoor/outdoor seafood restaurant on the water near downtown JB. They have live music on select nights and the kids always love feeding the tons of catfish on the dock. They have a wonderful conch chowder that has a little heat to it. Their conch fritters are a must-try item if you are feeling adventurous (FYI conch is naturally chewy so don't fret :), and their seafood is always expertly cooked. My favorites are the coconut shrimp, blackened fish of the day and the fish in a bag if you're looking for a lighter option. Plus, you can't beat the complimentary homemade banana and corn bread at dinner service. You won't be sorry you went to Conchy Joes!

Always delicious! My husband and I definitely have our favorites but will often times try something new. Drinks, cucumber gimlet, pear martini and the old fashion are our go to's. For an appetizer, the escargot is a must do us. For a main dish, I LOVE the panroast and I substitute angel hair pasta for the rice. A server a couple years back suggested it and now it's the only way I'll have it. My husband likes to choose from the steak and seafood combination dishes and he's ALWAYS happy. During our visit last week we had Trish as our waitress and she was great, full of knowledge about the menu and never kept us waiting. This night we ordered the 7oz filet combination with the Maryland crab cakes and the 12oz Delmonico with an added side of stuffed shrimp. Each dish had salad (coleslaw), a starch (mash potatoes) and a veggie (kale). When I asked for other veggie options I was a bit disappointed that kale was the only option but I was reassured by our waitress that it was going to be good. Turned out it was amazing, everything on our plates was amazing. A couple years ago we ate here the night we got engaged and continue to come back for our anniversary each year. This past year we've joined their members club and enjoy going for our free birthday entrees too.

The food is good however it will take a while to get to you. That's because they cook to order. Very expensive cocktails and mixed drinks and taste watered down. Highly recommend going during Happy Hour if you plan on drinking and only then I would stay away from the mixed drink selection. As far as the food, get the special, that is the best for your money.

Fine for a quick bite. Not for those looking for a fine dining experience. But if you are in St Charles and want a bite to eat, and are not terribly fussy, then you will be fine. TVs on the walls so you can pretend to listen to your date while watching the game.Basically just a fast food type place. Don't expect much more.

We heard a lot about this place from all the local residents. The property is very interesting with a cute bridge to cross as you travel in and park. At 4:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon, the place was PACKED! WIth all the build up, there was a lot to live up to.My wife and I sat at the bar to get instant seating. The wine selections are mostly local (which you would expect) and the beer selection was ok. Friendly staff and fast service. Now to the food. I ordered the full slab of ribs, stuffed baked potato and coleslaw. It was very good on all levels. My wife ordered the shrimp and scallop special. The main portion was fine, but the sides were not too good (brown rice and vegetables). Overall, if quantity of food is utmost important, than the Depot is a perfect spot! I enjoyed it, but know that Sanders Ridge or Trios in Mt. Airy offer better quality.

I love this place! Its family owned and an old original firehouse! The restaurant has a charm to it and welcoming place! Ive been here a few times and never disappointed. My favorite is the Surf n Turf special, its flavorful and good portion and great price! I also recommend their thin crust pizza and burgers!
